Emily Rohm is a genre-bending musical artist with flavors of pop, folk, theatre, and art-song. She draws her musical influences from Anais Mitchell, Harry Nilsson, Kate Bush, ELO, as well as her operatic training. Her background as a professional theatre performer brings drama to her lyrics and vocals. She is based in Chicago, but has been seen on stages across the US, and gained international attention when she originated the role of Jane Doe in the US premiere of Ride the Cyclone. Her performance as Jane Doe earned her a Lucille Lortel Award nomination. She reprised her role as Jane on the cast album of Ride the Cyclone, which has gained a cult following and millions of listeners on Spotify and beyond. Her independent solo album Traveling Show was released in 2021 and continues to be streamed worldwide.
